Tranquila Butterfly Experience

What a romantic gift for Valentine’s Day!  Your very own Chrysalis, set in a gorgeous flower arrangement and ready to open, spread its butterfly wings and fly away any day.  We launched the Tranquilla Butterfly Experience to Victorian media only and it was picked up by every major publication, including The Age Melbourne Magazine and Sunday Age M Magazine to reach a readership of 2 million plus.


PR Matters conducted Brunnings’ first-ever PR campaign to launch their range of premium coir potting mixes to the consumer market. More than 50 items appeared in magazines and press nationally, reaching a circulation of more than 5 million people.

Renew Skincare Australia

When we began working with Renew Skincare Australia, the company had never previously undertaken a strategic PR campaign. While their products had a loyal following in the natural skin care sector, they had received little exposure in lifestyle media. We progressively introduced key beauty journalists to Renew products and their benefits, achieving coverage in national magazines and press that reached more than 7 million consumers over a period of only six months.

Anthony Tesselaar International

We represented Anthony Tesselaar International for six years, during which time we conducted PR launches for 12 of the company’s products into the Australian market. These included three of the famous Flower Carpet range of roses. Our experience with horticultural PR is extensive and we are members of the Horticultural Media Association.


PR Matters launched several products in the Klorane hair care range, achieving magazine and press coverage that reached almost 5 million readers, top e-zine features and great reviews by leading bloggers and vloggers.


We recently launched Active Casual’s Krotens travel walker and achieved saturation coverage across national lifestyle publications reaching a readership of almost 5 million.

NQR Grocery Clearance Stores

When NQR approached us to represent them again five years after we last did so and following the sale of the business back to its original owners, PR Matters developed a campaign to let shoppers know that NQR was back in business. Within a fortnight, two major national TV segments achieved the objective of increasing consumer awareness and traffic in-store.  We’ve continued to represent the company, launching their online store and achieving ongoing national TV and local coverage.


With drought conditions and water shortages impacting on nursery product sales in many parts of Australia, PR Matters’ campaign for Debco’s established product SaturAid™ was designed to increase consumer awareness and understanding of its application and grow sales.  We achieved TV and radio coverage, as well as print coverage reaching more than 7 million readers.


In the first 8 months of our publicity campaign, Botani achieved coverage on national television, as well as national magazine and press coverage, reaching more than 10 million people.

Active Casual

“We have the hottest shoe at retail right now and its all down to good P.R!” That’s what our client said after we launched Active Casuals, his beach and boat summer shoe.We’ve conducted several campaigns for Active Casual, the company behind the very popular Sloggers range of garden shoes and clothing. From the very first launch of Sloggers garden clogs into the Australian market in 2000 we’ve generated coverage on national TV morning news and primetime lifestyle programs and in major national fashion, lifestyle and gardening magazines and national press. The Sloggers and Active Casuals brands are now established as a premium labels in their markets.


PR Matters launch of the Gondwana winter range reached a magazine readership of over 4 million, with coverage in national fashion and lifestyle magazines and press, as well as camping and outdoor publications.

Frankie Dean

This gorgeous range of retro styled glasses and sunglasses received a great reception from fashion and lifestyle media around the country with feature items in key media reaching a circulation of almost 2 million.
