Launching Australia’s first survey of Holocaust knowledge

Task: To gain media coverage for Australia’s first national survey of Holocaust knowledge and understanding
Result: Our work with the researchers, Holocaust survivors, Jewish and Holocaust Museum directors around Australia and the foundation behind this landmark survey generated over 130 media stories nationally, including 27 TV spots, 57 radio interviews and eight editorial and opinion pieces in major print and online publications.

Project Rozana Ventilators to the PA

Task: To gain cut through for the delivery of 20 urgently needed ICU ventilators into Palestine in a media landscape dominated by the emergence and rapid spread of Covid19 and mass BLM demonstrations in the USA and worldwide
Result: We focussed on the herculean achievement of this Melbourne-based NFP to achieve TV news, radio and press coverage nationally and overseas

Mind Medicine Australia

Task: To support Mind Medicine Australia’s campaign for the inclusion of a psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy specialist on the Mental Health Innovation Taskforce being considered in the wake of COVID-19 and unprecedented summer bushfires.
Result: We recommended leading the campaign with a high-profile former politician who is public about his struggles with depression, resulting in major TV news and current affairs, radio and press coverage nationally.

No Friend but the Mountains: A Symphonic Song Cycle

Task: to promote the world premiere of No Friend but the Mountains: A Symphonic Song Cycle
Result: We worked closely with author Behrouz Boochani, composer Luke Styles and the Zelman Symphony to ensure their messages were conveyed as intended in this unique work, resulting in national TV coverage and almost 40 radio, press and online media stories.

Adult Learners’ Week

Task: to promote Adult Learners week, held annually in September to highlight the benefits of adult learning
Result: More than 100 stories and news grabs in press, online and on radio across Australia

Jewish Holocaust Centre

Task: To launch JHC’s new virtual learning offerings to secondary educators
Result: Press, online and radio coverage in major consumer media professional publications nationally

Youth Futures Summit

Task: To promote the issues raised by the first online Youth Futures Summit and launch the national youth policy and plan
Result: 35 press and radio stories nationally, including opinion pieces in major press

Australian Industrial Hemp Alliance

Task: Develop a background kit for issue to media to raise the profile of the Australian industrial hemp industry
Result: 21 press, online and radio stories nationally

National Youth Homelessness Conference

Task: Publicise the findings of a National Report Card on Youth Homelessness and raise awareness of the need for policy changes to address youth homelessness in Australia
Result: More than 150 pieces of coverage nationally, including TV news, national radio, press and online stories which were shared over 5,000 times

Project Rozana Aiia Maasarwe Fellowship

Task: launch the Aiia Maasarwe Memorial Medical Fellowship Program while minimising the stress of media attention for Aiia’s father, Saeed and her sister, Noor
Result: We held a media conference to announce the Fellowship launch in a contained way. This generated over 100 stories across TV, radio, press and online, helping to raise funds for the project
